About Dauntless Accounting

A little about me:

I chose to make accounting my career over 20 years ago – I love my job and I realize how lucky I am to feel that way each and every day. Even as a kid, I remember I always loved math, enjoyed a good puzzle and adored problem solving.  My experience ranges across various industries including construction, healthcare, retail and SaaS.  I get satisfaction from helping businesses to grow by streamlining their accounting as well as finding operational efficiencies and by providing advice to help business owners and operators navigate the complexities of their financial performance.  When I’m not at work, I’m in my garden, volunteering at my daughter’s school or spending time with my family.  

My name is Carmanah, I live in Victoria BC with my 8 year old son, and our two kitties Marceline and Bonnibel!

Interests/hobbies

I love spending time outdoors; camping, surfing, snowboarding, golfing and especially love playing volleyball!

I also love spending time at home with my son; playing video games, watching movies and playing with our kitties.

Alana brings over fifteen years of detail oriented, administrative experience in a variety of industries. This insight allows her to help clients with reaching their financial objectives, and maintaining organized record-keeping.

She also enjoys the quiet West Coast life that allows her to spend time with her family and follow her photography passion.
